DykeHouse Press is a dyke-run small press publishing queer poetry, poetics and love letters.

Founded in 2022, DykeHouse's name is a reference to the press' roots in the Netherlands, a country that would literally flood without dykes (the geological kind, but maybe also the other type?). The press is meant to offer a home to queer writing that is still looking for one.

We started with Dyke Love, an anthology of lesbian love poetry, after which we published the Dyke Magic and Dyke Rage anthology zines. In March 2026, DykeHouse published Leatherdyke Love Letters, a publication that collected love letters from across leatherdyke communities in the UK, USA and Netherlands.

Radically trans-inclusive and DIY, DykeHouse believes in the punk and countercultural nature of self-publishing, and we aim to make our publications as cheap as possible and our events, ideally, free, whilst still getting money in the hands of queer poets and writers.

With THE RUSH (2026), we branched into broader queer poetry publishing. Our most international anthology yet, it contains queer, heady writing by 24 poets from across the English-speaking literary landscape.
